Das Frühstück im Hotel ist sehr reichhaltig.Vor dem Fenster ist der große Park, mit Blick auf den Fluss, im Stadtzentrum gelegen und ruhig inmitten des Trubels. Etwas weiter südlich befindet sich das chinesische Restaurant ";Bamboo";, im Westen ein großer Komplex und ein chinesisches Restaurant ";Lichi";. Das Hotel ist sehr kostengünstig.

Älteres Hotel mit einfachen Zimmern, der Geist der Sowjetunion spürt man noch. Relativ kleine Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Freudliche englischsprechende Rezeption, gutes Frühstück mit lecken Details, nur die 2. Kaffeemaschine wurde erst nach lautstärkeren Bitten in Betrieb genommen. in den oberen Stockwerken hat man einen guten Blick auf die Stadt

The fungus in the shower enclosure, whose doors struggle to open and close, the sealing gum falls off. To enter the shower enclosure you need to raise your feet 60 cm. Part of the shower enclosure "eats" the seating angle (who sits in the public shower?!) large, tall and people with 40 size feet and will no longer be able to wash properly.
Furniture in places with damaged surface. Dried parquet on the floor.
Water, teapot, tea/coffee not found in your room. Maximum cooler in the common hallway. So if you do venture to book a room here then make sure there's water in the room in advance.
Breakfasts, meagre and cold even if you arrive at 7 a.m. The omelet looks like it's made from egg powder, the pastry is dry, as if it's been lying around for a long time (cookies don't count).
And "cherry on the cake" - in your booking you will not find information about the surcharge for early arrival and even if you arrive about 12 days. Immediately you will be issued with a key, you will pay the amount specified in the reservation and only then you will be swamped with what you owe for early arrival even if you did not ask for it!
By the way, the hotel's website doesn't have this information either, or it's somewhere so hidden that you can only find it with dogs or mat!

Loved staying at this beautiful hotel! Former US presidents have stayed at this hotel as well. Loved the view of the city from the upper floors. ❤️👍

Eight days in Belarus
My daughter and I were thinking about where to go in the summer, to unwind and gain impressions, and decided to go to Belarus. She wasn’t there, I was either passing through or as a child, and I don’t remember what happened or how.
I bought an overnight train ride - it’s convenient, you’ll sleep and save on hotel costs. Coupe round trip 25 thousand (on the Russian Railways website, Tutu and others were more expensive).
The hotel was booked a month in advance on the hotel’s website, without payment (the aggregators were also more expensive). More precisely, with the condition of payment on the spot. On the eve of the trip I looked at the prices, they were almost twice as high. I contacted the hotel and they reassured me that the reservation was valid and come. Subsequently, I learned that from June 1 the hotel raised prices for all rooms.
Upon arrival, I paid with a Mir card for 1393 BYN (about 42 thousand rubles) for 7 nights in a TWIN room (separate beds) with breakfast.
Also, immediately upon arrival, I bought a transport card (for myself and my daughter) for all types of transport (metro, tram, trolleybus, bus) for 10 days (something about 600 Russian rubles, I don’t remember exactly), very convenient. We traveled a lot, it paid for itself in literally a couple of days (a single ticket for travel costs a little less than a ruble, about 30 rubles for ours). I also got a SIM card from MTS for 25 BYN for myself and my daughter (unlimited Internet, plus calls. I went to other operators, but it was a little more expensive. All operators for tourists had offers for at least a month. Friends said that there used to be packages for 10 days, and they are much cheaper, I haven’t found any, apparently now you can only apply for a month).
Breakfast at the hotel is very good, tasty and filling, there is a choice of dishes, a buffet.
You can also dine at the hotel; there is a paid dining room (see photo). Delicious homemade food, as in most canteens in Minsk. There is a similar canteen even in GUM (and in the neighboring Yubileiny Hotel), the pricing is approximately the same, plus or minus, and it is also tasty and satisfying.
I paid everywhere with the Mir card, withdrew a little cash from an ATM (twice, in the first case they counted it at 31 rubles per ruble, in the second case it was slightly less than 30 rubles at an ATM of the Belarusian Sberbank with some prefix - it turned out more profitable) for pocket spending.
Yandex maps work everywhere, using them I was at home looking at how and what to get somewhere. I also ordered a taxi through Yandex Go, it was a little cheaper than Moscow, although gasoline is more expensive here, 2.4 BYN 95 or diesel, 40+ percent more expensive.
Every day we went on excursions somewhere, either ourselves or through agencies (through Tripster we took all the one-day excursions; at the Champagne agency we took a two-day excursion to Brest, with accommodation and a bunch of excursions on the round trip route, 600BYN for two).
As a result. The hotel is located well, the city center, everything is close, if we are to find fault, then everything is good, except for the bus stops (it takes 5-7 minutes to walk from/to any stop) or the metro (10 minutes), which is especially noticeable when you’ve already been there for the day, and you can barely move your legs (and this happened, after 20+ thousand steps daily, fatigue accumulates during a week of excursion).
The hotel is quite suitable for a stay in Minsk, there will be a place to spend the night and have a delicious breakfast, the hotel is IMHO two stars, and for particularly unpretentious tourists.
